Introduction to Credit Running in DealerCenter
Understanding the process of running credit is essential for seamless dealership transactions. This guide outlines the steps to manage credit applications and reports within DealerCenter effectively.
Texting or Printing Out a Credit Application
DealerCenter facilitates the credit application process through convenient texting options.
From your Customer page, go to the Credit App tab then choose either the Print Credit App option, or the Email Credit App or Text Credit App buttons:

Viewing a Credit Application
In some cases, you’ll have already received a credit app automatically because the customer has submitted that from your website. In that case, this icon would indicate that there is a credit app:

Accurate review of submitted credit applications is crucial. To access credit apps go to the Files tab:

Running a Credit Report
Run credit reports quickly with DealerCenter. From your Customer page, go to the Credit App tab then choose Run Credit Report button:

Using “Quick Credit”
If the customer isn't already in DealerCenter and you'd prefer to jump directly into pulling a credit report, then you could use the 'Quick Credit' option. The 'Quick Credit' feature in DealerCenter offers an expedited way to check customer credit. From the DealerCenter Homepage choose Run Credit from the Quick Links:
