CRM Simplified: Using DealerCenter to Send Emails and Texts

Searching for a Customer

From your Homepage, go to the Search Bar and type in information like a name, phone number, or email address to pull up a customer.

SMS/Texting a Customer

DealerCenter CRM offers integrated SMS tools for seamless communication with your customers. You can send text messages directly from the CRM, view conversation history, and manage responses efficiently.

  1. From your Customer page, click on the customer phone number, then choose SMS to open an SMS messaging window. See your entire conversation history and send a message.
  2. Or, from the Lead tab click the SMS option to access the messaging window and continue your conversation.

Choose from a customizable preset message template or just start typing your message. Insert links to vehicle photos, vehicle history reports, and more!

Sending an Email

DealerCenter CRM allows you to send emails directly from the system. Use customizable templates or write new messages, and attach vehicle details or reports as needed.

  1. From your Customer page, click on the customer email address, then choose Email to open an email window.
  2. Or, from the Lead tab click the Email option to access full email history.

SMS/Text and Email in the DealerCenter Mobile App

Texting and emailing within DealerCenter is also available in your DealerCenter mobile app with the same features and functionality. You’ll have the same template and attachment options.

To send a text, just tap SMS. Here we can start typing out a message or start from a template. Then add attachments or links. The steps are the same for emailing.

Your entire customer communication is available at a glance right on the mobile app.


Leveraging Reports and Inbox/Outbox

You have options to see all your customer communications in one place. For example, go to the Inbox/Outbox option on the Customer menu.
