Wait! Are you removing a vehicle because it was sold?

If your vehicle is out of your inventory because you sold it, it is crucial to mark it as Sold in DealerCenter. This action impacts various aspects of your dealership's operations and reporting:

  • Marking a vehicle as Sold triggers important follow-up actions, such as sending email and text messages to the buyer.
  • It also affects various reports, including ROI reports and other performance metrics, ensuring they reflect accurate and up-to-date information about your dealership.
  • Additionally, updating the vehicle's status to Sold automatically updates the corresponding buyer's customer record, indicating that they are a Sold customer.

Vehicles are moved into Sold status as a result of completing a deal in DealerCenter. This process helps maintain the integrity of your inventory records and supports effective customer relationship management.

Delete a vehicle(s) from inventory

If you're sure you want to 'Delete' a vehicle from your inventory instead of marking as Sold, note that the vehicle status can be changed in two places:

1. From Inventory Reports List View

From the Menu choose Inventory List, then select the row (or rows) of vehicles you want to delete. Next, Right-click to bring up the options menu and select Change Vehicle Status from the menu.

Change status to Deleted then Save.
