Check out the major updates, enhancements, fixes, and new features released in September 2023.
This new feature allows the user who is logging a BHPH payment to override the default payment application and manually apply the money received to individual buckets/balances due. This can be used for scenarios in which the user and/or customer want to apply the amount paid in a different sequence than the default application order.
Example: The customer has paid more than what is due and wants to apply the overage to a future deferred down in a single payment transaction
The user will open the Take Payment window and select Manual Override in the payment type dropdown.
After selecting Manual Override, the Take Payment Window will be updated to show the current account balances and individual inputs for the amounts to be applied to each balance type (principal, interest, late fees, etc.).
The due amount section of the Take Payment window will be updated to show the total balance for each of the balance types.
The paid amount section of the Take Payment window will now be updated to allow the user to apply an individual amount to each of the balance buckets.
We have added a new Custom Status field to the Account Details tab of the BHPH account. The Custom Status is an open, wildcard field that can be used for report filtering and segmentation.
The Custom Status field can be used to track accounts that belong to specific investors, risk groups, or any other types of segments that users would like to track.
The entries in the Custom Status dropdown list can be managed in the Custom Status section of BHPH Settings.
We have added Edge Credit as a new Credit Reporting partner. Edge Credit provides a hassle-free integration with DealerCenter that allows users to report payment records easily and accurately to the credit bureaus.
Users with an active Edge Credit account can activate the integration in the Partner Settings tab in BHPH Settings.
Once active, the Edge Credit Export button will be available in the BHPH section of the left navigation menu.
Clicking the Edge Credit Export button will create and send a file containing the account and payment details of the user's BHPH accounts to Edge Credit for reporting to the bureaus.
More information about Edge Credit can be found here: https://edgecreditreporting.com/
We have added an additional “Active CPI Balance” field in the summary row of the CPI report to capture all current balances and all CPI reports.
Currently, there isn’t an efficient way to print out the collection activity on a BHPH account. A report displaying all the collection activity to collect the debt is helpful if or when a dealer takes the customer to court.
Dealers will now have the ability to click on a new print button on the header of the Collection Activities tab. When selected, the print button will generate a PDF of all the collection activities. Dealers will be able to utilize the filters/settings (type filters, search filtering, and Task status filtering) to select and export the collection activity.
A new setting has been added to Deal Setting to set the default Days to First Payment, which will be used when creating a new deal. First Payments can’t be earlier than 30 days and no later than 45 days.
GOLF is now expanding to IL, NJ, MD, and PA.
We have added the same net check pop-up screen on Wholesale deals, Similar to the retail deal screen. For wholesale deals, the net check screen will only have the total sale price, net check, and flooring deduction.
We have added the ability for dealers to automatically populate GAP on new deals. Users can access the new GAP feature from the additional products in the dealers’ settings under Deals >Deal Management>GAP.
This new GAP section will have the inputs for Term, price, cost, and vendor. It will also have a "default" check box, that when enabled, will carry the GAP inputs to any new deal created.
Users will now have the ability to edit the lienholder info from the deal screen.
This avoids having to open up the vehicle record and manage the lienholder info from there. To edit the lien holder info, Users will need to open the trade-in field and search for or add the lien holder info.
