DealerCenter has added the ability to set up a second processing fee when taking a payment. This will allow the users to charge different payment processing fees to have different rates for Credit Card and ACH transactions. Settings can be accessed in Dealer Settings > Dealer Profile > Payment Settings.
Users can select either a % of the payment amount or a flat amount to be applied to specific payment types the users select.
We have created the ability for users to desk a deal without having to log into their DealerCenter account. Users can access the “Desk a Deal” button from the home screen. Users will then be taken to the desk of a deal screen, where they will need to select their state.
Once the user selects a specific scenario and clicks on “Start Deal,” they will be required to log into their DealerCenter account and then proceed to their DealerCenter account.
Westlake and Western Funding have made it easier for Users to submit their deal stips by providing a QR code to scan that will give the users a secure link to upload their required stips. Once uploaded, the stips will be sent directly to Westlake or Western Funding.
Users can access the QR code from the WFS Funding tab > Stipulations. Users can click on one of the stips, and a pop-up will appear. Select the “Mobile Upload” tab, and the QR code will be available to scan. The QR code will be valid for 15 min. Once scanned, the users will be given the option to upload any missing stips. The link will be valid for 60 minutes to allow the users to upload the stips. If time expires, users can rescan the QR code to reset the amount of time to upload the stips.
The current stip collections feature, where the users can send a link to the customer via text/SMS or email for the customer to send their stips to the dealer, and the stips will be available in the “File” tab of the deal, this new feature is to allow the users to upload the stips and send them directly to Westlake and Western Funding.
