BHPH - NEW BHPH – Setting to Automatically Export all Datalinx/Edge Credit Files

This update introduces a new setting in BHPH that allows dealers to automatically send Datalinx and/or Edge Credit files on a specified day each month. This enhancement was requested to streamline bureau reporting and reduce manual effort.

  2. Options include: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, ..., 28th, 29th, 30th, and “Last Day”.
  3. If “Last Day” is selected, files will be sent on the last calendar day of each month.
  4. If 29th, 30th, or Last Day is selected, files will be sent on the 28th in February.
  5. Default selection is the 1st of the month.

    Enable/Disable Toggle

    1. A toggle switch controls whether the automatic file send is active.
    2. Enabled (true): Files will be sent automatically on the selected day.
    3. Disabled (false): No automatic file export will occur.

BHPH - CPI Updates

CPI is insurance that the dealer can enforce on a BHPH when the customer’s insurance lapses so that the vehicle is insured until the customer obtains updated insurance. The premium for the CPI insurance will then be paid by the customer as a side note.  This is a common practice within the BHPH industry.

Our current implementation makes adding the CPI insurance and side note too cumbersome, as the user must manually type in the CPI information and manually create the side note each time. This enhancement seeks to simplify the addition of the CPI insurance to the account by introducing the following functionality:

• Settings update for default CPI provider information

• An action to apply the default CPI info as the account’s primary insurance

• The automatic creation of the CPI side notes when CPI is applied to the account.

  • CPI Settings Configuration

New section under Settings > BHPH > Insurance for default CPI values:

  • Insurance company (Search for an existing partner or add a new partner)
  • Deductibles (comprehensive & collision)
  • Premium amount and payment frequency
  • Agent name and contact info

  • Insurance Pop-Up Updates
    • Activate CPI button applies default CPI values to the account.
    • Automatically populates insurance fields and creates a CPI side note.
    • Deactivate CPI clears insurance info and cancels the CPI side note.
    • Save action prompts user to confirm side note creation.

  • Modives Integration
    • CPI activation sends updates to Modives, including CPI flag and insurance details.
  • New Insurance Status
    • “Active” status added to account header and vehicle info section.

  • Event Logging
    • Logs added for CPI activation and deactivation, including user information, Date and timestamp.
  • Reporting Updates
    • “Active – CPI” status field added to Insurance Status Report.
    • CPI Accounts and CPI Reports updated to include CPI flag/status filters.
