What You Can Do with Caller ID

With Caller ID enabled in the DealerCenter Mobile App, you can:

  • See the customer’s name and phone number when a call is received

  • Make and receive VoIP calls directly in the app

  • View call status (in progress, recording enabled, call duration)

  • Take notes during the call

  • Navigate directly to the customer’s detail page while speaking

  • Review call history and past interactions with the customer

 


Receiving a Call (Caller ID Experience)

When a customer calls through the DealerCenter Mobile App:

  1. The incoming call displays the customer name and phone number.

  2. The call screen shows the call status and whether recording is enabled.

  3. While on the call, you can:

    • Take notes

    • View customer details

    • Navigate to the customer’s record

Making a Call

You can also place outbound calls directly from the app:

  1. Open a customer record or call history.

  2. Tap the phone icon to start a call.

  3. The call connects through VoIP, and the customer details remain accessible during the conversation.

 


Viewing Call History

All calls made and received through the app are logged automatically.

From Call History, you can:

  • View inbound and outbound calls

  • See the associated customer

  • Identify call direction (incoming or outgoing)

  • Quickly return calls with one tap

Notes & Customer Context

During or after a call, reps can add notes that are saved to the customer record. This ensures:

  • Better follow-up

  • Clear visibility across your team

  • A complete communication history for each customer


Important Notes

  • Caller ID works with VoIP calls placed through the DealerCenter Mobile App

  • Call recording indicators appear when recording is enabled

  • Customer details are shown when the phone number is associated with an existing record
