Check out the major updates, enhancements, fixes and new features released in March 2022.
New ”Can Refund/Reverse/NSF/Edit Payments” permission has been added under “Administration”. The main purpose is to be able to control who can manage or edit payments.
Many of our dealers want greater control over the default BHPH receipt – some want the pay-off, some don’t, some want the account balance, some want the principal balance, etc. We add a new section to the BHPH Printing Options that will allow the user to control the information that is displayed on the BHPH payment receipt. This new section has been added in Settings>BHPH>Printing Options below the Direct Printing settings, under Receipt Settings.
Currently, after a BHPH payment is made, a payment is applied, and a record is created of the payment. The dealer will need to click on “Receipt” to initiate the printing of a receipt.
The dealers have an option to “Ask to Print Receipt After Payment”. once a payment is applied the payment screen will have a print button option on the bottom right of the screen, or they can close the screen if they don’t want to print a receipt after the payment is made. The dealers can access these settings under Settings>BHPH>Printing Options below the Direct Printing settings under Receipt Settings.
We’ve added a Post Sale tab in DealerCenter, this will help dealers better manage the pieces of the deal that need to be address after the sale – e.g., title perfection, aftermarket remittance, and trade payoffs. The Post Sale tab will be enabled when a deal is marked Sold – Contract in Transit or Sold – Funded status.
Westlake and Western Funding are expanding Remote eContracting to the remaining states as of 2/15.

Current States:
The DWS team recently deployed a feature where users can save and print a newer version of the credit app form (better formatting and more fields) on the customer when credit apps are submitted online from the Dealer’s DealerCenter Website
Under the print button in the Credit App tab will show when the latest Credit App was received. When the user presses this button and if a credit app was received online from the customer from the DealerCenter Website, a pop-up with the following message will appear.
“A credit app was last received from the customer on xxx Date and xxx Time. Press 'Print Credit App Received' to print this form as is. Press 'Print New Credit App' to print a new form with current customer details.”
If the dealer chooses to print the credit app as is, the credit app will have a date, time and IP stamped along with the applicant who submitted the application.
If there is no credit app submitted online, the Bankers Credit Application form from the print library will continue to work the way it does today, no changes there.
Phase 1: Updated View Stips section & enhanced Funding Tab interface
Dealer and Customer View Stipulations updates.
Once the dealer has accepted the deal, a new “View Stip” button in the Deal Contract Tab of the deal has been placed. Clicking on “View Stips” will take the user to the bottom of the deal screen to show the required stips for the dealer and customer.
WFS/WFI Funding Tab:
We display the same stipulations as in the Deal Contract screen. The Stip Type is categorized by Buyer, Co-Buyer and/or Dealer. The Upload Stips button in the Funding Tab will work the same way previously mentioned above.
Pre-eContracting:
We display the same Customer and Dealer stips listed on the Deal Contract screen.
We have enhanced the WFS/WFI Funding Tab layout:
Removed Notification section, moved Lender Comments higher on the page, Buyer/Co-Buyer and Dealer stips are listed in bullet point format. We have also added the ability to sort by Date and Status.
Current:
After Deployment:
Below are the different interfaces based on pre-eContract/non-eContract/post-eContract.
Remote eContract signer signing status is in progress, we display the eContracting pizza tracker only.
eContracted deal booked, we show the UW pizza tracker, if the dealer clicks the eContracting circle we display the eContract pizza tracker.
We added a Return to Dealer Tooltip
If the deal was booked non-eContract, we show the eContracting circle grey and only display UW pizza tracker.
Remote eContract signer signing status is in progress, we show eContracting pizza tracker only.
Accept approval only
Enterprise Funding Tab UI: The same changes were applied for Enterprise dealers
We have updated the Deal Contract screen and Lender Offers Tab.
After deal submission: the “View Stips” button will navigate the dealer to the bottom of the screen.
If dealer has Accepted approval only
Since Enterprise dealers already have the DriveInformed integration, there will be minor updates to the Funding Tab. We have removed the missing information, required documents and uploaded documents tabs and have listed all stips in bullet point format. Dealers will still see DriveInformed responses within respective Proof of Income bullet points.
Add Acknowledges from BP on “Dealer Acknowledge” popup and save in DB
Dealer Acknowledgement: During eContract ceremony, we have added new acknowledgments that need to be selected to continue.
New Acknowledgement section added to all dealers Buy Program approvals created in Dealer Center and Underwriting.
Screenshot of Print Acknowledgements:
Update stips on "Final Step of eContracting" Popup
After eContracting is completed, we display an updated “Final Step” pop-up window.
Here, we optimized the Dealer and Customer Stipulation lists for WFS/WFI. We removed stipulations that are classified as “acknowledgments” and moved them to the eContracting ceremony (as shown above).
For the Document Upload section below the statuses listed (Pending, Received, Missing, Verified etc.) are statuses directly from WFS/WFI Underwriting.
Request Stips Button
New Request Stips button was added to the top right of the "Final Step of eContracting" Popup. The dealer can easily request pending stipulations from the customer via email or SMS.
The dealer can select Stip Type needed and if the stipulation is needed from the Buyer and/or Co-Buyer.
The dealer will have two options: Save and Send Email or Save and Send SMS.
By clicking Save and Send SMS, we display the pop-up window below and the dealer can proceed with Sending an SMS directly to the customer.
Below is a sample text message that is sent to the customer from Dealer Center.
There will be new validation rules that will be applied when any new dealers are purchasing craigslist ads. Existing dealers’ limits are set based on their current usage.
Limits:
If the dealer reaches these limits when purchasing craigslist ads, the dealer will receive a message "You have reached maximum limit of purchasing craigslist credits. Please reach Dealer Center Support for assistance".
Support will have access to the screen Support Reps with “Tech Support “permissions will have access to control and adjust limits.
For dealers who are purchasing ads higher than the default limits, there is a process to take a deposit using a credit card ( only )
