Check out the major updates, enhancements, fixes and new features released in July 2022.
In the BHPH reports, we’ve added an Annual Snapshot Report that will show the account activity for a given year. It will show basic account info, as well as the taxes paid amounts and tax balances for the year. These fields can be edited by the user. A summary of the calculations is available on the bottom of the report screen.
For sorting purposes, dealers can filter by: Year, account status, and account owner
Dealers will be able to export the report in CSV, PDF and Excel formats.
In the DWS settings, we’ve added a "Preferred Language" field in the credit app form. The default setting is set to “Disabled” so the field in the credit application on the website will hidden. If enabled, this field will be populated in the CRM based on the selection from the customer when filling out the credit application on DC dealer website.

Currently, Dealercenter only allows the sales reps who have accepted the chat requests/sessions are able to view and communicate with the customer.
We are now allowing users with the “Sales Manager” and “Dealer Admin” roles to first be able to view all ongoing chat sessions across the dealerships, and then be able to join ongoing chat sessions to be able to engage with the customers.
There is no need to transfer the chat sessions like happens between regular sales reps. When the manager/admin selects a chat and views the conversation in the middle pane, this will automatically add that user to the chat as a participant. When the same user leaves the chat conversation view, the CRM will automatically remove that user to the chat as a participant.
We’ve added a new custom “No Sale” reason code option for when dealers are utilizing the checking-in action for the CRM, like we do for the other two terminating system check-in actions 'Lost' and 'Be-Back'.

In the customer’s record, under “Lead” activities tab, DealerCenter is providing the details on which action (Bulk/Work Flow/ Campaign ), created the activity.
Five64 is expanding to Texas for the out of state tax and fee calculation functionality.
Five64 interstate Tax and Fee calculations are available in these states.
For dealers contracting interstate customers, they can subscribe to interstate fee calculations service by our current tax automation provider Five64.
The “Calculation Tax and Fee” notification button will only display in the tax itemization box when the customer’s state is from out of state from the dealer’s address. This feature will allow the dealer to subscribe to an additional service to have Five64 calculate the proper taxes and fees for interstate deals.
Dealer will need to agree to the terms and fees and then complete their billing information on the signup page.

Missouri
Users are able be able to uncheck any forms from the print pack that are not needed to be printed for the PLP lenders. This is not applicable for WFS/WFI/EContracting and Lentergity econtracting, the forms cannot be unchecked.
When docs are returned from the lender vault to ours, we will read the document name in the return transaction and display the previously returned docs with an updated status of “Returned by Lender” The dealer will be able to Paper Out the returned documents by selecting the appropriate forms and hitting the Paper Out button.
DealerCenter will be recording the event logs of all the person/users who made changes in a deal. There are some instances that the cost and price in the warranty are changing as well as the vehicle or customer information. The dealership’s management will need to know who is changing this so they may know who to speak to regarding the changes.
Dealers can now Add and Edit the print packs directly from the deal screen. The User Created Print Pack will be opened, and the user will make their edits and hit save to update the print pack.
The Preferred Lender Print Pack will be opened and the user will be able to see the contents of the print pack, but they will not be able to make any edits.
Dealers will have another option to use the last 8 digits of the vin when auto generating the stock #’s.
From the Global search box, users will be able to search for vehicle using Year, Make, Model, and Trim
Users can search by any part of vin instead of just full vin or last 6 vin like last 8 vin.
Dealers will now be allowed to set the statuses of the records they want returned in Global Search – some dealers want to see deleted cars, some don’t; Some want Sold cars, some don’t; etc…
We can add a dealer setting under Inventory Management -> General Section. Dealers can include all statuses except Pending Import and Deleted in this list.
Dealers will now be able to update their vehicle cost on vehicles in “Sold” status.
After the new dashboard was launched, some dealers wanted the option to see other cars that will be in their inventory but not marked “Inventory” yet. We have added another setting to allow them to include vehicles “In Bound” and “In Recon” for their reporting.
Carvana is expanding to 8 additional states.
