Check out the major updates, enhancements, fixes and new features released in September 2022.
Westlake and Western Funding are now allowing dealers to submit their required signup documents to get their accounts active directly by uploading the documents from their DealerCenter account. If the accounts are already active, the Upload Doc button will be disabled and not available.
Depending on the status of each lender, the homepage will have links to upload their docs to complete their account activation with Westlake or Western Funding.
Dealers can check off the box for the bank to see the list of documents by Lender, document status and when it was uploaded. The document list is populated based on what is in Westlake and Western Fundings Mosaic application.
To upload a document, select the bank you want to send the document to, then choose the document name in the dropdown box on the upper right-hand corner.
File types that are acceptable are JPG, PNG and PDF. Max file size is 20 MB.
Click on the upload button and search for the file to upload.
Once uploaded, a pop up will notify the user that the file was successfully uploaded.
The status of the document and the upload date will be updated.
We have updated the side note functionality in BHPH to give dealers greater flexibility with the scheduling of side notes. The previous side note functionality required that the payments be due on the same date and payment frequency as the contracted BHPH payments. This new functionality allows the user to set the side note to run on its own payment frequency (Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Semi-Monthly, Monthly).
Upon opening the side note window, the user will have a new dropdown to select the payment frequency of the side note. This will allow the user to set the side note to be due weekly, even if the main loan is due monthly.
When the side note payment becomes due before the main loan payment, the account will be updated to reflect that only the side note is currently due
The payment window will also reflect that only the side note is due
The user can choose to keep the side note’s due date pinned to the primary loan’s due date by checking the “Due with regular payment” box during the side note setup
Current BHPH accounts, dealers can set up an Auto Pay schedule. ( Must be subscribed to payment processing )The reoccurring payment amount is set based on the BHPH contracted monthly payment amount.
We’ve added a new feature for dealers to allow the customers to set up a fixed payment amount, above the contracted payment. This feature allows the customers to overpay the scheduled payment and be able to pay off the loan faster.
How the overage amount is applied will be dictated by the overpay policy rules in the dealers BHPH settings.
VerifiNY is a company that works with the NY DMV to electronically process two different parts of the dealer experience – Inventory Registry (Police Book) and vehicle registration (EMV50 and EMV50w).
This integration would allow dealers to send VerifiNY their inventory to be electronically processed with the state, instead of keeping a paper Registry Log/Police Book.
The dealer will activate the integration by navigating to Admin > Dealer Settings >Inventory and clicking on the “Sign Up With VerifyNY” or from the vehicle record screen in the left navigation bar.
Dealer will need to enter their facility ID. The ID # is provided to them by the DMV.
Once activated, the dealer can transmit to the vehicle information to VerfiNY by clicking on the “Register Vehicle in VerifyNY” button in the left navigation bar of the inventory record or from the Purchase info tab of the vehicle record.
The user can also transmit multiple vehicles to VerfiNY by selecting multiple vehicles from an inventory report and selecting “Show MultiSelect” from the Bulk Action menu.
Select multiple vehicles by clicking on the boxes of each vehicle you would like to register with VerifyNY, from the Bulk Action tab, select “Register Vehicle in VerifyNY”
Confirm the vehicles that were selected and click on “Register Vehicle in VerifyNY” to proceed.
Once registered, a pop up will appear letting you know the vehicles are done being registered with VerifyNY.
Currently when dealers set up their Cost and Packs, they can set it to be applied to new vehicles being added with a status of In Inventory, Inbound, In Recon, Trade-In and Appraisal statuses.
We have added an additional setting to allow dealers to apply any default Costs and Packs to existing vehicles in specific statuses of In Inventory, Inbound, In Recon, Trade-In and Appraisal or all vehicles in the dealers’ account.
Currently if a dealership wants to rebook all their inventory to update the vehicle values, they can update the values for Kelley Blue Book, J.D. Powers and Black Book and select the booking value period. Manheim is not an option.
We’ve added the ability for dealers to be able to rebook the vehicles MMR values to the most currently values. Historical values are not available for MMR.
Currently:
After:
Users at the dealership will need to have “Can Run Manheim” permissions to be able to rebook all their vehicles with MMR.

Due to too many equipment fields in the field selection of the window sticker settings, some of the users were confused on what to select. We ‘ve simplified the equipment setup by allowing the dealers to choose specific “Equipment Type” providers. By default, “Default Book Type Equipment” will be selected. Dealers can choose to list out equipment type, by Kelley Blue Book, J.D. Powers, Black Book, custom options or additional options.
Dealers can access the window sticker settings by going to Admin > Dealer Settings >Inventory > Sticker Preferences. Choose the Window sticker template and select “Fields” and scroll down to “Equipment V2”. Right click on the list that pops up and the equipment Code Description box will be accessible. Dealer can then choose and select which “Equipment Type” they prefer.
