Wireless GPS Tracking Modes
The wireless device operates in one of three modes depending on the activity being tracked.
Trips Mode
- Travel Start - when the vehicle begins moving.
- Stop - registered after 5 minutes of no movement following a Travel Start.
- Heartbeat - device location, reported every 41/23 hours.
Note: The device switches to Endurance Mode after 100 events.
Endurance Mode
Tracks only the Heartbeat event every 41/23 hours. Designed to preserve battery life.
Repo Mode
- Travel Start - when the vehicle begins moving.
- Breadcrumb - location pings every 2 minutes between Travel Start and Stop.
- Stop - registered after 5 minutes of no movement.
- Heartbeat - device location, reported every 41/23 hours.
Note: The device switches to Endurance Mode after 100 events.
